    1. MCMURRAY, Andrew d. 20 DEC 1824, Kirkmaiden
    2. Robert MacMurray
    3. I've just been to the Wigtonshire Pages and found the OPR Death Entries transcribed by Meg Greenwood, Leigh-Ann Evans-Elliott, and Jim Heron. Thank you folks very much for your great work. I think I found another ancestor there: Andrew MCMURRAY, formerly of Montsallie, d. 20 December 1824. He may be my 4th great grandfather. My 3rd great grandfather, Alexander McMurray was born at Kirkcolm in 1790. His eldest son John, was born at Montsallie in 1818. His youngest son, born in 1831 was named Andrew. Now I have a couple of questions...how far back do the census records go? Are they on micro-film? Best Regards, Robert MacMurray Orlando, Florida, USA D&GFHS Member #2995 (Dumfries and Galloway Family History Society) Surnames of Interest: MITCHELL of Banfshire, Scotland BYERS, CARNOCHAN, FAIRGRAY, HYSLOP, & MCMURRAY of Kirkmaiden and/or Glen Luce, Wigtonshire, Scotland AMELL, CARNOCHAN, FAIRGRAY, HYSLOP, MCMURRAY, of Edwardsburgh, Ontario, Canada BELKNAP, CARNOCHAN, CLUTE, DICKSON, MITCHELL, MCGUIRE, MCMURRAY, & WADLEIGH of the City of Albany, Albany County, New York KERN, REYNOLDS, & ROTH of E.
