I am back again, on my never ending quest for my Kennedy's in Dumfries. Aha I have a new bit of the puzzle, that someone out there may know about. I am sure this is the grandfather of someone living now. On 5th December, 1897 at 1.15am at 6 S. Tuttersley (very hard to read) Street, Dumfries a beautiful bouncing baby boy was born. He was named James Menzies Kennedy and he was the son of William Kennedy, a butcher and Christina Kennedy (nee Moffat). Sorry can't tell you his weight. William and Christina had married on 20th November, 1890 at St. Andrews Chapel, (can't read the street, could be shakespeare) in Dumfries. William is the son of William Kennedy, fishmonger and Mary Ann Kennedy (nee Duffy). Who of course in turn goes back to the elusive MENZIES KENNEDY, that I feel everyone on this list must be sick of me asking about. Please please let someone be related to James. Fiona Down Under PS Sandy, if you have any idea about the proper spelling of these streets it would be much appreciated.
