Can anyone assist me with any information on: James McCARTNEY who married Agnes MANARY on 28 April 1848 in Dumfries. I need to be able to find his date of birth and where. These are my g.g.grandparents. James McCARTNEY son of the above, born Dumfries in 1854, who married Agnes PIRNIE on 9 November 1876 in North Leith. I am trying to find out his date of birth. James is my g.grandfather On his marriage certificate it states that both parents are deceased. Any assistance will be gratefully received. Andrew
