Hello All, Well, after my much travelled luggage and most of my research papers have touched down back in Arcadia Vale, I would like to thank everyone I came across in my 900+mile journey around Wigtownshire, D & G and Ayrshire. Every person I spoke to or visited (living and dead, family or friend) was so friendly and helpful, yes, even the headstones! John, Ann Sharpe for the B&B asked that I extend her best wishes to you and yours and would like to see you again when you next decide to take a trip back. A lovely lady with a good sense of humour. To Sandy and Cathy thank you and lovely to meet after all these years we have been talking by email. Will be chasing up some more information as soon as my Scottish papers arrive from Ontario after being saved from the floodwaters in my mum's cousins basement.
