Apr 24 1826, by Agnes McGeorge residing in Glenlauch, relict of John McKie in Kilncroft, Esther McGeorge, spouse of McAdam, residing in Shillingland and John Newall residing there, - of the 1 merk land of Castramon, being part of the 7 merk land of Sundaywell, par Dunscore: - and of 100pds, to the said Agnes McGeorge, - 20pds and a liferent annuity of 4pd to the said Esther McGeorge, - and 20pds to the said John Newall, in Disp. and Settl. by Jospeh McGeorge of Castramon, to the said Robert McGeorge, his son Nov 2 1814 What I do know of this family is - Joseph McGeorge, born about 1740, died about 1820, married a Janet smith. There is only one son named in the OPRs -Robert McGeorge 1773-1825 who married Jean Newall Tait. Robert's descendents ended up in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Would I be correct in thinking that Esther and Agnes could be sisters to Robert?? thanks Kay
