Quarellwood is (or was) a village in the parish of Kirkmahoe, Dumfriesshire. Urr is in Kirkcudbrightshire and is about 15 miles South of Kirkmahoe. (2)Where Dalwinston or Dalwinton or Dalswinton is in England cannot be far from the border. or is there another village of this name in Kirkmahoe.?
