Hello all, I just joined the list today and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I live in the USA and FINALLY able to visit Scotland for a week. First of all I am researching the HOLLIDAY surname and I believe the came from the area around Annan. So my question is..... Since I only have a short week, where are the best places to researcher older records (early to mid 1700's). A place that has a vast collection and or that are open longer hours?
