Hi All, I've just done a double take whilst going through some death certs it looks like the wonderfully clear W J CUTHBERTSON is in my tree. His Grandfather John CUTHBERTSON armouer at Carlisle Castle married my 5xg aunt Helen Caruthers in Annan. Is anyone else connected? Happy to share. Pam :-)

Hi Pam, I have a Jannet Cuthbert, daughter of John Cuthbert of Dornock--married John Caird in Dumfries in 1754. Cuthbertson seems a more common name, and I've often wondered if Jannet's surnmae was Cuthbertson?
