Barbara, David McKay's wife was Margaret McKenzie. Believe they would have emigrated 1840-44. I can't find them in 1841 census for Scotland so they may have left by then. They ended up in Middlesex and Norfolk Cos., Ontario. I'd like to determine his parentage. Any John or Angus McKay emigrating about then to the same place? Or his siblings that I mentioned before?
