Hello List, My name is Dilys Loomes and I live in Pleasant Point, a little country town in South Canterbury, New Zealand. I am new to the list and I am researching the above people. James/Robert Irving was my gg/grandfather and came from Dunfrieshire. I am trying to find out more about him. I know he married Janet Rae, date unknown, and they had at least four children, James (my ggrandfather) was born 1840, George, John born 1848, and David. If sks has access to the 1851 and 1861 census could they please look to see if my information is correct and if there are any other siblings. TIA Dilys
