I've just found Thomas Cairns (born abt 1825 Dumfries, a baker) & family in the 1851 Scottish Census on ancestry. The address is given as "High Street Fallas Closs". If that's wrong can anyone tell me what it should be and give me any further info on that location. I also have another branch of the Cairns family who at one stage lived in Whinbush in Canonbie. Ancestry shows the address as "Whin Bank". Which is right? Thanks, Douglas Brown Queanbeyan, Australia
