Thank you to everyone who replied about the book "Parish of Urr" After debating whether to buy it or not, I bought instead the History of Dumfries and Galloway by Herbert Maxwell as I thought I may get more from that with the rest of my ancestors.. Grahams and Johnstons etc Sausages and mince for the few weeks cheers Kay
