    3. Let me suggest to everyone who is planning a trip to Scotland that they buy ahead of time some maps of the area. Specifically I find the Ordnance Survey Landranger series and theOrdnance Survey Pathfinder series to be excellent as they have a multitude of historic places marked that the regular road maps do not and cannot. The Landranger series covers a much larger area than the Pathfinder series do. Both are excellent and when used in conjunction with each other will make planning a vacation trip to Scotland much more enjoyable. I wish that I had had them when we were there 10 years ago. Cliff.
