Hello Joe and the Dumfries-galloway list. I agree with your sentiments about the spam but the list moderator should first check with the person who supposedly emailed this and discuss. Quite often with aol or hotmail or gmail accounts spammers are able to get a hold of the address and send spam out, while making it look like it came from this person. I have received a number of spam messages with the return address of some of my friends but they did not send it. I have also received reports of spammer's using my email address as a 'sender'. So we should probably check with mdotson973 first before we simply kick them off the list, especially since this has only happened once. If it continues then perhaps additional steps could be taken.
