Hi Hugh Just to keep the record straight. The link you posted lists only 17 gravestones in Pennersaughs. The DGFHS booklet lists 74. There still isn't any Romes (or variants) but there are two mentioned in Carruthers graveyard in the same booklet. Janet Rome, spouse to Charles Hyslop died 11th March 1844 aged 50. Also other Hyslops. Andrew Rome, Joiner n Hoddam died 2nd March 1832 age 33. his wife, Mary Bell died at Ayr, Canada West, 3rd September 1867 aged 69.
