Anne, You do not mention the parish, but there is, or at least was, a Nittyholm Farm in Canonbie Parish. It was on the old line of the A7 about 3 km north of Canonbie. It is on the first series OS 1:10,560 maps but is not on the current 1:25,000. If you go to Bing.com (UK site), select Maps then Road/Ordnance Survey, search for Canonbie. About 2.5 km north of Canonbie along the A7 is Enthorn. Nittyholm was 300m due north of Enthorn. I have Dixon and Little ancestors born at Nittyholm, and my grandmother was a Wilson from Langholm.
