Hello Listers, Happy Autumn all, Jim Patterson here, I have been away from Genealogy for a good time due to health problems but am now recovering and was given a wee challenge by a distant relie this summer and could really use listers assistance on this as I am not up to scratch as yetJ lol What we know so far. Maxwell Thom was the possible the son of a William Thom, mother unknown? Maxwell married? And they had 4 children- William Thom Maxwell Thom Jnr Stewart Thom May Thom. Something occurred with Maxwell's first wife and then Maxwell married again to a Dalbeattie girl known as Mary Jane McArthur McCartney born about 1900. and they had four children- Robert Thom. Andrew Thom Margaret Thom George A Thom, who was born in about 1935 in Dalbeattie and we know George A, left Dalbeattie in abt 1965 and moved to Canada but as yet have little or nothing else to go on with, can SKS help put us on the right track here please?
