Hi Desmond, I think you might find it is Hempland Hill, Torthorwald. If you put the postcode DG1 3PP in streetmap.co.uk you will see 'Tinwald House' north and slightly west of Hemplands; the actual Hill is across High Road from this house. Maybe they married in the House? Or one of the few houses along the High Road? Tinwald Church is along the road to the north west, and Torthorwald Church to the south east. Hope some of this makes sense!
