My grandson just phoned to say that he and his wife Kerri have blessed us with our sixth great-grandchild, a new little bud on the family tree. However, what was especially touching is that this perfect little boy has been named after my husband, his great-grandfather...and has been given the "old-fashioned" O.T and N.T names Joseph James (Michael's surname just happens to be Thomas, so let's hope that doesn't put the cat among the pigeons in future genealogy sleuthing!). We are indeed honoured that Joe's family name is being passed along in light of the fact that the five other great-grandchildren have "modern" names with no family history attached. Michael is back on the will! Maisie
