Thanks to Bruce for the recent reminder. Tried again to find the death of one Joan Telford, a GGGG Grandmother, known to be 1861-71. Found it in 1865 in the indexes. Then found it on Scotlands People - it was there all along, but even though the age is on the statutory record, it is not visible when searching ! I now know two more GGGGG Grandparents (William Telford and Margaret Nichol), though first search for further details on them is looking difficult. Jim Graham
