I think that Stobahill is a miss-transcription for Slodahill (in the same vicinity) Combstone is probably Cumstone in Applegarth parish. Brenda & Ian, Brenda, do you have a male Johnston/e in your line who has had his Y-DNA tested? It would be interesting to see if he is any kin to our extended Poldean group.
