Hi All, I am looking at a death certificate from Scotland's People. The death took place in Gretna in 1939. In the column for informant it gives the name, Widow and then "(Preseup)" For the next but one entry it looks more like "(Prescup)" But the "P" is very flowery and even looks a little like a "J" or "I" on the same page but there is an upstroke before it. I think it means "at the same address" but I cannot make it into anything sensible. Any ideas? Thanks for any info. Christine
Hi Christine, Are you sure it doesn't read 'Present' meaning present at the death. Judy
Many thanks Judy, I can make it into "Present" now I know what I am trying to make it into.
