Hi Sandy, Yes, that is my family. In 1964 my father (now deceased, then living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) asked the minister at Closeburn to have pictures taken of the family stones, which he did. They turned out very well. In addition to the one you quoted the next stone to it records my infant aunt, grandmother, and grandfather: IN MEMORY OF ISABELLA, Daughter of ROBERT JAMES GRAHAM, Banker, Kilsyth, Died 22nd August 1898. Aged 5 MONTHS. ALSO IN MEMORY OF ISABELLA CAMPBELL, beloved wife of ROBERT J. GRAHAM, J.P. Banker, Kilsyth. Died 18th December 1925 in her 68th year. ALSO IN MEMORY OF ROBERT JAMES GRAHAM. J.P. Banker, Kilsyth, Died 28th August 1928. at the Grange, Kilsyth, aged 78 years. I did not realize that Holywood and Closeburn cemeteries were that close (8 miles). Family lore and handwritten records say that James GRAHAM who married Marion HUNTER was born 16 Jan 1777 at Bankfoot, Kirkmahoe but I have not been able to find any record of his birth (not found in church records of Kirkmahoe, Dunscore, Tinwald, Kirkmichael, Keir, or Dumfriestown). So I do not know his parents' names and this is my big "brick wall" for this branch of the family. Thank you for all your help and interest.
