Hi everyone, I am looking for my gggrandfather. His son was Samuel Peyton and was born in Tn. in 1830 and found on a census in Indian Terr. Ok. that lists his father as being born in NC. Samuel P. married Mary P Macon Gravitt in 1868 in Lincoln Co., and their son Samuel Houston was born in Lincoln Co., Mulberry, Tn in 1874. Does this sound familiar to anyone. People that lived in Duckworth Holler were related to them. One elderly lady in Fayetteville, Tn. remembers her parents talking about them and that her son by Fielding O. Gravitt stayed with them.
