I am trying to identify my gggrandmother Ellen Duckworth, who married Ellis Chadwick in 1829 in Haslingden Lancs. She was born 1805/06 according to age given on census index. I have found a couple of possibles on the IGI, both born Croston, but I know she is not the daughter of Richard and Mary, as that lady was still single in 1841. Does anyone know of a likely Ellen? I have two snapshots taken in 1925 in Nashville TN. On the back "Charlie Duckworth,Pop Duckworth,Mrs. Lela----,Frank Duckworth" (Evidently Lela is sister to Charlie and Frank) The other one says on the back"The Duckworth Family Nashville, TN 1925" The photo is apparently the same family as above Charlie,woman and child(appears to be Charlie's wife and son) and Frank. James Monroe Duckworth 1880-1950 is buried in the Old Town Cemetery, Crane, Stone Co., Mo.. James Monroe is buried next to George W. Duckworth 1840-1881 and Margaret Lockhart Duckworth 1847-1881 in the Old Town Cemetery in Crane. My question is: Would James Monroe have been George and Margaret's son? Oaks, William Fremont Oaks, Theodore F. Oaks, Celesta Oaks, Elizabeth Margaret Oaks, Florence Oaks. Listed in the Hunterdon County Marriage records is: Sarah Duckworth and Andrew J. Farrand Febuary 9, 1850. Also listed is the marriage of Sarah Duckworth and Peter Oaks. My question: Is this the same Sarah? Before her marriage to Peter Oaks, was she married to Andrew Farrand?
