Searching for parents of Mary Ann DuBose. From census records she was probably born abt 1810. Tradition has it that she was from around the Sumter Co. area. Recent discovered that her husband was William Morgan. I first discovered her in the 1840 census for the lower part of Robeson Co., NC. She had two sons, one between 5 and 10 the other under 5 years of age. Tradition also has it that he left her and the boys. She married William Hill in 1844. After Hill's death one of his sons discovered that she had a husband (William Morgan) still living. Am eager to find where they both were from and when married. Thanks for any help. Roger Morgan
