I am the great-great granddaughter of EZEKIEL DOSSEY DuBOSE & CASSANDRA "CASSIE or CASSA" THOMPSON. Ezekiel and Cassa moved from Darlington, SC to N. FL in 1860 via covered wagon. My great-grandmother was 18 months old when they left. I'm not actively researching my DuBOSE line right now, but would be interested in emailing with anyone who might know more about the THOMPSONs ( yes, I am on the Thompson list). Also, anyone who has more information about Ezekiels siblings....I believe they also moved to Florida.. but have no idea what happened to them. I don't have much in the way of research documents.. most was work done by my 4th cousin, but I would be happy to help trace the Florida branch of the DuBOSEs in whatever way I can.
