My Father's sister, Valarie Darling, DuBose, had traced our geneology through the Daughters' of the Texas Republic some time in 1965, but her search came to an abrupt end when she found Monsieur Jean Pierre Isidore DuBois, to be of such colorful charachter, as one might expect, she refused to believe we were any part of such unbeliebable heartless acts. My aunt forbade us to any family members to persue, and withdrew from The Daughters' of the Texas Republic. I am now 52 and was curious to our heritage, I was never real close to my father or his family and my grandparents died at a very young age. I do know my grandmother was a RN graduate of Baylor in Dallas, Texas. Her first name I never knew, but my grandfather's first name was Oscar Wade, I know that because my next to the oldest brother was named after him. Any information would be appreciated, the last information we had on de Saligny Dubois was he picked up in New Orleans. <http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/FamilyAssoc/DuBose>
