The John DuBose who married Susan Canty was the son of Isaac IV, b. July 23, 1779. After she died, he married Margaret DuBose Dick, a great-granddaughter of John DuBose and Mary Whilden. I am descended from their son, James Lawrence. Jarvis Miller
