We have another Driscoll/Hurley link that might be on your tree: James Hurley (abt. 1810-1870) & Mary Driscoll (abt. 1812-1872). Two of their sons - James (1831-1900) & Joseph (abt. 1833) - came out to Canada in abt. 1857 and eventually settled in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. The Canadian records we have found refer to their origin as "Irish" and place of birth was "Cork" - that could be anywhere in County Cork or Cork City. Could our Mary Driscoll be a sister of your Daniel? Have you uncovered any other family members, ancestors, etc. Any information about Daniel's family in Cork would be appreciated.
