This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Dublin is not in County Cork and Mary "tended to the animals"----"would grab Nick and put him in her lap"--"and could jump over a pig sty" isn't something that would be recorded somewhere...although, Mary jumping over a pigsty is a hard visual to ignore once you heard granddaddy talk about it. However, I'm still looking for Mary Driscoll who was born around 1826 in County Cork Ireland. Mary married Nicholas Lambert 16 Nov 1852 at St Anne's Chapel, Mile End, Old Town, Whitechapel, Middlesex, England. Nicholas was also born around 1826 and was a farm laborer. The couple had several children born between 1853 and 1869 (Mary, Ellen, James, Katherine, Nicholas, John, Margaret, Ann, and Joseph in that order). I would like more information on Mary Driscoll and her background. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
