The 1900 Census shows him living in Somerville, Ma - came from Maine - as we all know these census's are quite in-accurate.....but says he was born in the Portland Me area and that parents were not born there. I have his info on down - but cannot find his birth, marriage or death certs - do you know if your Daniel was in New England ever?? anyone else have a Daniel that matches?? unfortunately he only had one son, the rest girls which are harder to track.
