A very particular place but the location is lost. Went to Scranton before moving west. I have tried to ascertain why he went to Scranton but w/o success. There may have been others "Driscolls" or people from his area that would explain his destination.Was there a Catholic Church, perhaps Holy Cross, in Scranton in the 1852-1855 time frame? I am looking for marriage and baptism records, if they are available.
