With Florance the surname change to PAUL seemed to be driven by his wife Mary Ann MORGAN whom he married in 1867 in Poplar. She applied for the marriage licence in the name of PAUL and they married under that name but later baptised and registered two children in Poplar under the DRISCOLL surname. Also used DRISCOLL in 1871 census. When they sailed for NZ in 1873 they used PAUL surname and kept it from then on. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
