Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GhT.2ACIB/558 Message Board Post: I know this is a stab in the dark as they say, but I am looking for Catherine Driscoll (maiden name). Went by the name "Catie" born in Kingston, Ontario. Parents names were Patrick Driscoll and Julia Ann Babcock, she was born about 1882. She had two brothers Henry in 1883 and Daniel in 1885 before their father died. Her mother was previously married to a gentleman named Woods and one son named Charles. After Patrick died she married a gentleman named Harry Beach and had two possibly three sons named John in about 1890, Ernest in 1892. I heard she married again because of the death of her third husband. Possible name of this man Glazer (Glazier) and had a set of twins one of them named Wilifred born in (1895) and died before 1910. Unsure what happened to other twin. She moved from Kingston Ontario to the Clifton, NY area and then Watertown, NY and married a gentleman named Rufus Hayes around 1898. I don't know about when Catherine came over but she is not listed with her mother in 1900 Census. Her brother Henry was a feather-weight boxer in the upper NY area and I was told she married and lived in the Buffulo, NY area. The rest of her siblings and mother eventually moved to the Detroit area around 1915. She supposedly died in Buffalo area around 1935-1940. I know this is alot o! f?????? but this is all I have to go on. My two aunts can not remember anything else about her. Any one that has any suggestions on how I may find her or if any one knows any info about her please respond. I am at a total loss. Thanks

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GhT.2ACIB/362.2 Message Board Post: John - I noticed your posting about Daniel Driscoll, wife Catherine Hurley and son Daniel, born 1839. We have another Driscoll/Hurley link that might be on your tree: James Hurley (abt. 1810-1870) & Mary Driscoll (abt. 1812-1872). Two of their sons - James (1831-1900) & Joseph (abt. 1833) - came out to Canada in abt. 1857 and eventually settled in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. The Canadian records we have found refer to their origin as "Irish" and place of birth was "Cork" - that could be anywhere in County Cork or Cork City. Could our Mary Driscoll be a sister of your Daniel? Have you uncovered any other family members, ancestors, etc. Any information about Daniel's family in Cork would be appreciated. Cheers - Bruce PS - I also visited you website - Great Work

Surnames: Boggs, Finkle Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GhT.2ACIB/557 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Shirley C. Duncan Driscoll. She was born April/May 1929 in Melrose, Massachusettes. Her parents were Frank C. and Nellie M. Duncan. Shirley was briefly married to my half-brother, Robert Franklyn Boggs. They married on Dec. 8, 1951 and he died probably of a brain tumor Dec. 27, 1951. Shirley later married UNKNOWN Driscoll. Shirley was a nurse and her second husband was either a medic or possibly a doctor in the Air Force. She had two known children: Mark born probably in April of 1954 ( 8 months at Christmas) and Karen born August, 1955. I have photos that I would like to return to her or her children. Shirley her husband, and children visited my grandmother, Clara Finkle Boggs in 1955 or early 1956. There are photos of them with my grandmother dated Feb. 1956. I would also like to thank her for her kindness and consideration she showed to the grandmother I never knew. Thank you for any help you might be able to give. Rebecca (Becky) Boggs Vincent

But the 1920 census shows she was born in Kentucky. Both census show her father being born in Virginia. Denise
