    1. Driscoll/Driscol Burials In Fern Hill Cemetery, Daviess Co. Ky.
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Many Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GhT.2ACIB/577 Message Board Post: I am still working on finding who all was buried in Fern Hill Cemetery. Although I have not posted an updated list for the cemetery on Rootsweb Cemetery site yet, my list has rose from the 58 burials I do have posted on Rootsweb to 115 burials now. I'm hoping since the Daviess County Library [Kentucky] has posted old obituaries on their web site, that people searching their Ancestors and finding them in the old obituaries, will contact me with anyone they find buried in Fern Hill or Parson's Cemetery. If you feel you may have someone buried there, contact me and I will check my list for your Ancestor. My purpose for doing this is because there are no records for this Cemetery and I hope to document it for the Kentucky Historical Society and for Daviess County Records. New homes are being built very close to this cemetery, and I am worried after all these years of being 'hidden' in the woods & hills, it will be vandelized as more people move into close proximity of it. Anyone wishing to help with this endevor [documentation & cleaning up and protecting the cemetery] can contact me. Judy Bailey

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Driscoll, Tierney, O'Calaghan, McCurrigan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GhT.2ACIB/576 Message Board Post: I'm searching for information on the family of Timothy Driscoll of Cork. He was married to Mary O'Calaghan possibly about 1820 and had a son named Michael and possibly a daughter, Catherine. I'm not sure if Timothy emigrated to Canada or if it was just Michael. I've located their names on a ship coming to Canada in 1833 through New Brunswick, but I don't know if it's the family I'm searching for or not. I do know that Michael eventually settled in Hull, Quebec. He married Bridget Tierney (McTiernan, daughter of Stephen Tierney and Catherine McCurrigan) in 1848 at Notre-Dame Basilica in Ottawa, Ontario. Michael and Bridget had 2 sons, that I'm aware of, Thomas b. 1849 and John (my great-grandfather) b. 1851. If anyone knows of this family (Timothy and Mary) , I would appreciate any information at all. Thank you. Lori Driscoll-Gruber

    3. Hi Norm, Do you have approximate dates for your James Driscoll? Or any other info? I have a James Driscoll (b. Green Island, NY in 1876) who married a Catherine Hildebrandt of Buffalo, & they lived in Buffalo. Their son James Driscoll b. 1913 also lived in Buffalo, and had 2 daughters, I believe. Catherine Hildebrandt Driscoll ran a rather well known doll store in Buffalo around 1920's-1930's. I think it was called The Doll Hospital. I have the address somewhere; if you think there is a connection, let me know and I will look further.
