I've "rescued" an old photograph of Nina BAGLEY which was taken at the O. M. Munson Studio in Madison, South Dakota. I have nothing on your family, the only common thing here is that my great-great grandmother was Bridget Driscoll (born 1837 to Denis Driscoll & Mary Cadigan, married Patrick Cadigan at Sacred Heart in Rath in 1858) A Mary Driscoll is a witness to your Ellen's marriage. Of course, the family is just loaded with Ellens, Marys, Bridgets, Johannas, as well as Johns, Michaels & Patricks. The only thing I have noticed is that one line seems to use Cornelius, Timothy, and Denis; and the other uses James. And just to add to the fun, it appears they all married one another frequently! I even found a reference to the original Cape Clear Driscolls all marrying each other (as well as the other Driscoll names, which include Cadigan, Bohane, Wholey, and a few others I can't think of right now). Best of luck to you. B~ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. It's at: http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/index.html Rath & The Islands includes the townlands in the Baltimore area towards Lough Hyne, up to Skibbereen, as well as Sherkin and Reengaroga (Ringarogy) Island. It is listed as including Cape Clear as well, but I could not find any mention of the island or any of the townlands on it. (There is however, a place called "Cloughnacleena" used frequently, and I'm trying to find out what townland or place that was). Most of the parish includes the civil parishes of Creagh and Tullagh.
