Parents names unknown. married Catherine “Kate” DOYLE born 1838, Manhattan?; died 1889, Manhattan, NY Parents names unknown. Hi Dan, How many people responded with all three names in their collective family histories AND family members (Doyles) buried in Calvary? Also we are basically, at least as far as I can determine, from the NY area. I think we have written before but if we haven't, I am looking for a Rodger or Roger Doyle, first son of Dennis and Mary Boshell Doyle, of Ireland, lived in lower Manhattan...Dennis worked as a carpenter at the docks. He was in the Civil War and survived to die in the early 1900's. Now, the Murphy connection is two fold. One is connected to the Bogert side and one married my late sister, Alice May Doyle. I married a Joseph Strebb whose mother was a Dougherty --Claire Dougherty or Doherty....Her family was and still is in around Wilmington, Delaware. She had two sisters: Irma and Marie.
