Hi Dud, This reply comes as a "Oh my God"answer. My daughter and husband have a house on Lake Tillery (Norwood side)and my husband and I almost moved there around 1994 but he had a very serious accident and we decided three houses were too much risk not knowing how he well he would heal. So we moved to the mts where we had a small cottage in W. Jefferson with a great view of Mt Jefferson and Grandfather Mt. How about that? I also met and worked with a Jack (John) Doyle here in W.Jeff.who moved down from Buffalo but they are gone now to GA. We've lost touch. Nova Scotia.....Dud, I found out an old ---really old ,boyfriend's family was originally from Nova Scotia..small world don't you think? Harriet, Yes it is strange how we all move around so much! I live on the Montgomery County side of Lake Tillery, in a place called Woodrun. My Daughter lives on the other side of the lake around Norwood! And I used to go trout fishing out in the NC Mountains around West Jefferson and Cherokee when I was younger and in better health. People do not realize how many Doyle clans there are in the US until we start searching for someone. All my ancestors in the US came from Essex and Clinton County in Northern New York and from across Lake Champlain in Vermont, but have since scattered all over the US. Of course thousands of "Doyle's" came thru Ellis Island in New York City. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harriett Auger" <harrietta@skybest.com> To: <DOYLE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, June 08, 2006 10:28 PM Subject: Re: [DOYLE] Doyles in NY > Hi Dud, > This reply comes as a "Oh my God"answer.
