    3. Dud, Did they stay in Nova Scotia when they were in Canada? My Great Grandfather John Doyle was in St Johns New Brunswick we believe some prior to 1883. There is also a possibility he work in the stables at West Point after he was in Canada. Settled in Canada for about 5 years, had boys, John, James, Timothy and Thomas. Then went to Chesterfield, Essex County, New York and some of them still live there. And of course just like the new trend in the movement of population nowadays, my descendants of my ancestors have also scattered over the United states (just like me, I am now in North Carolina!) My Grandfather was named James Doyle, but not the James you are searching for. I believe that us Irish all have numerous relatives named John, James, William, Peter, all the classic bible names! That does make it very6 difficult to trace them and to try keeping a who's, who index. Talk to you all later, maybe?
