    3. Roger Doyle disappears (and a reasonable search doesn't reveal where he went) around 1910--give or take. He was the first born of Denis and Mary Boshell Doyle. My cousin searched and searched death records in NYC but nothing turned up. Denis does not list Roger as a living child when he applies for his military pension. As far as we know, he isn't buried with his brothers and sisters. SO---maybe he left for greater goals and MO and IL were great places to make a new start. His father, Denis must have had interesting stories about other states and areas since he was in the Union Army when he was only 19. Couches--ha ha--Can't get over the pronunciation although my Cornish friend told me it was probably pronounced "Cooch." I am sending for Alice Amanda Couch Bogert's death certificate--and will go from there. I had someone contact me several years ago about Alice and then I never heard from her again. This person thought that my gr grandmother was related to a Couch family in Staten Island.
