Does anyone have access to the 1860 census in CT? I have been trying to locate my ggrandmothers family and cannot find that census. I can find the 1870 but don't know for whom to look. Nellie Doyle was born in 1856 in CT Her parents were both from Ireland. If anyone has that census and could see if they were still there and what the parents names were I would really appreciate it. Nellie could have been Ellen or even Eleanor but on my grandfathers death cert it says Nellie. Thanks for anything. Margaret

The only Ellen Doyle is an 8 year old. No Nellie, No Eleanor, No Helen. A search of any "Doyle" age 4 had no Ellens or Nellie or anything close (2 Eliza's.) Sorry couldn't help.
