They came to Iowa in the late 1850s from Richmond Virginia, staying for some time in Indiana before settling in Nevada, Iowa where they are buried. They had 7 daughters (Mary McLain, Margaret Page, and Kate Lockwood are the married names of 3) and 2 sons, names unknown. Seeking information on this family, especially parents of either Daniel or Margaret. Mary Doyle married Frank A McLain in Nevada, Iowa, 1861.
