Doyle, born in Carrigbeg, County Carlow, Ireland on July 1, 1869, shortly before his parents immigrated to 109th-110th Sts., New York City, where they had a blacksmith shop. William F.'s brothers were Luke, Thomas H., Michael J., John J., and the youngest, Matthew P., who was born in NYC in 1871. His sisters were Delia (Bridget) Ann, who married James Byrne, and Kate Ann. Their parents were James and Margaret Coogan Doyle. Do any of these names appear in your records? Darn, sure wish these were mine since my Dad's middle name was William. Our Doyles, as far as I can tell, came from Dublin. Question: Is there a Dublin website that anyone knows of?
