    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Doyle, Keating Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/IcT.2ACIB/1746.1 Message Board Post: This may be a long shot but I have to try. I am researching Doyle's of the Chicago area in the same time frame you're speaking of. I have a Keating in my family of Doyle's also. Edward J. Doyle born: abt.1867 Cork, County Of Cork, Ireland married Annie KEATING about 1890-1892 in Chicago. From their oldest son's marriage license it says Annie was from New York. I know this isn't from the same generation as yours but Michael is a pretty common name in the Doyle histories also. What struck me wasn't just the KEATING name it was the cemetary you mentioned also..Mount Olivet. I have several Doyle's buried there and also at Acacia Park. I'm just curious to know if you're Doyle's came from Cork County in Ireland and possible before that from Inchigeelagh ( Inchigeela ) Town Of Macroom, District Of Coolmountain, , Ireland. And do you have anything else on your KEATING line? When my Doyle's came from County Cork (1868) they stayed for a bit in Brooklyn, New York for a few years and then when on to Chicago from there. My Edward J. Doyle was born in Cork but his father Thomas came from Inchigeelagh. Any connection do you think?

    2. Hi, I think I may be the person you want to talk to. My name is Janet Doyle and Joseph Doyle was my great-great-great grandfather who was married to Mary Keating. The only Thomas I came across was born October 1945 in Dublin, Ireland to Joseph Doyle and his first wife Jane. Does any of this sound familiar? -----Original Message----- From: spirit@blackhills.com To: DOYLE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: 7 Jan 2006 11:12:00 -0700 Subject: [DOYLE] Re: Joseph Doyle and Mary Keating This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
