In the 1880 Census they had 3 children John, Frank, and Mary Ann. Patrick was 45, Ellen was 37, John was 13, Frank was 10, and Mary Ann was 7. I think Ellen's maiden name was Whalen. Frank married Cathrine McAuliff and then remarried Marjorie Murphy.

We have a Murphy connectionon two levels. The oldest is connected to theBogert family which is my grandmother's maiden name.
