Some of the records for the Doyles I'm trying to trace are in St. Andrew's Church, Bagenalstown--twin sisters Bridget (later Delia) Ann and Kate Ann Doyle, baptised Dec. 8, 1858. Most of the other children of Margaret Coogan and James Doyle were born in Carraigbeg, not far I'd expect, from Kilcarraig. The youngest, Matthew Patrick, was born in 1871 in NYC after the family emigrated. There are many records of Doyles in the Bagenalstown area. I would not be surprised if yours were related to mine. See my posting Re: William F. Doyle, earlier. I also have plans to visit the Bagenalstown area in Sept. Maybe this time I can find some more of the family records.
