I've seen stranger things happen. Last night I found two Sarah TUCKERS on 1850 TN census of the right age. Giles Co. TN TUCKER, William 44 TN Elizabeth 42 TN Sarah 18 Mary 16 James 14 William 10 AND: Shelby Co. TN In the household of Martha WILLIAMS; TUCKER, Allen 24 Elizabeth 19 Frances 18 Sarah 18 John 15 Do you know if there is a Methodist connection? That could help with your research, they kept pretty good records. I'll keep looking through my stuff to see if I find anything. "Hey.......My GGGRandfather was a RUFUS JOHN DOYLE b.1834 in Estill Co, KY died in the Civil War Dec 3, 1862. Some of his kinfolk were named John, Martin, Newton & William. My GGGGrandfather Dr. John B. Logsdon married a Sarah Ann Tucker from TN, she was born in 1832. Wonder what the chances are they might be related. Dont have any data on either. Know some of the Logsdon went dont to TN, AL, MS during the war and some went to MO to escape it. Please let me know if any of this is even close as I cant tie any of them together. Martin lived in Logan Co, KY which is like 5-10 miles from the state line. Steve in Indy" Let me know if you can relate to anything.
