    3. Dennis, There is a set of books (I think two volumes) whose title is something like Irish or Immigrants to the New World. It covers the whole period of the early famine immigration. We have some copies at our local library, but it is probably already online. Or maybe someone already recognizes the books and even has a set. If not, I'd be willing to check out the names for you. He was married to Margaret Collins in St. Josephs Church in what is now East Rutherford, New Jersey on 6/25/1882. I am trying to find out when he came to the US. I was hoping to narrow it down by tracking down when he first appeared in the New Jersey census, 1860, 1870 or 1880. I know that when he first came to the US he lived in Jersey City, NJ and then moved to East Rutherford which in those days was called either Union or Boiling Springs.
