Then we are cousins! In one of Grandpa Cheek's books he has Zadock Price notes. I did find how they related but it took awhile. I have Tabitha the daughter in my computer. I wish I could find the parents of Tabitha that married Jeremiah Cheek and the parents of Jeremiah. I exchange data with a "Cheek" in Australia and he says we are related. His family originally from England. I find no proof as yet. Others are adding a father to Jeremiah but still no proof. I will check Zaddock Price and see just what I do have on him. peggy ----- Original Message ----- From: <Jwb2725@aol.com> To: <doyle@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, December 01, 2006 9:17 AM Subject: Re: [DOYLE] DOYLE Digest, Vol 1, Issue 40 > Peggy: > > Are you saying Jeremiah and Tabitha are your 4th grt grandparents? > Then we are cousins. The ship is not named in any of the resources; the passengers were Irish. Listed were : Philip Doyle, 35; wife Bridget,34; Philip, 15; James, 12; Elizabeth, 8; Catherine, 6; John,6; Richard, 4; Mary, 3. They were on the first page of passengers. On the second page, I found Patrick Doyle, 30; and Charles Doyle, 19. I believe that Elizabeth is the daughter of Margaret Cuddy and Owen Doyle of Goresbridge. People who did Elizabeth's genealogy also gave us this info. Were Philip and Owen brothers? What is the connection with Patrick and Charles? DOYLE families can you help me? Thanks so much, Margaret

I have a James Doyle born in either 1828 or 1829 died at 65 years of age, who was married to a Fannie Doyle (maiden unknown) and had at least 2 children, Anna Doyle born 185? and Fannie Doyle (died at 15 1/2 years of age). Anna Doyle married Charles T. O'Herien. I stumbed across their headstones while researching my O'Herien ancestors. All of the prior names mentioned are in the same cemetery (St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fairview Avenue, Oneida, New York on what appears to be the Doyle Family plot. I have been unable to find information on them. My instinct was telling me that James and/or Anna must have emigrated from Ireland. I have a number of possibilities but have not narrowed it down. It would be extremely helpful if you could let me know if we are talking about the same family. Thank you.

I am not the seller of this bible, nor do I know the seller. I'm just a fellow researcher trying to help out. I hope somebody knows of this bible and it will "go home." I know that Henry had a son called Harry but would have been born much later (ie mid 1920's) Henry's father and mother were both born in Wexford Ireland, their names are James Doyle born c1876 and Annie Doyle (nee Walton) born c 1873. Both appear on the 1901 census and at that time lived 2 Wilton Street Birkenhead. So far I have not been able to locate any birth, death or marriage certificates for Annie and James.
